Rockwell Collins repeats top score achievement in 2018 Corporate Equality Index

For the fourth year in a row, Rockwell Collins has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Rockwell Collins joins the ranks of 609 major U.S. businesses which also earned top marks this year.

“We understand that fostering an environment of inclusion, collaboration and ownership serves as a catalyst for increasing our competitive advantage. We begin to help others succeed when we respect the unique qualities, experiences and perspectives of each person,” said Jeff Standerski, senior vice president of Human Resources at Rockwell Collins. “Rockwell Collins is honored and proud to be recognized by the HRC’s Corporate Equality Index.”

The 2018 CEI rated approximately 950 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. Rockwell Collins’ efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
