General Dynamics introduces the new 940A Antenna Control Unit

General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies is proud to announce the new 940A Antenna Control Unit. The 940A builds on our 7200 legacy architecture and interfaces to the 7150 drive cabinet. This controller comes standard with the same in-demand features as the legacy 7200 product, including Intelsat, Norad/TLE, and industry-acclaimed OpTrack.

The 940A features dual 5-inch touch screens, remote HTML5 web access, NTP, and the capability to conduct software upgrades via the front panel. It is packaged compactly in a 2RU rack mount unit for valuable rack-space savings. The 940A supports both resolvers and optical encoders, and includes an option for an integrated tracking receiver.

The 940A shares a common operator interface with the 930A, which allows ease of use when both controllers are present on a site. This touch screen interface is simple and easy to learn.

The 940A makes a welcome addition to the 900 series controller portfolio, which also includes the 930A and 950A control systems.
