Elbit Systems selected to supply off-board ECM payload as part of the NOMAD program of the Royal Canadian Navy

Elbit Systems was selected by the Prime Contractor, Rheinmetall Canada, to supply Off board Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) Payload for the Hammerhead Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) as part of its Naval Off-Board Anti-Missile Active Decoy (NOMAD) Program.

Pietro Mazzei, Vice President, Electronic Solutions – C4ISTAR of Rheinmetall Canada Inc. noted: “The Naval Offboard anti-Missile Active Decoy (NOMAD) system is a state of the art Electronic Attack payload integrated onto an unmanned surface vessel for remote anti-ship missile defence operations. Rheinmetall Canada is pleased to have selected Elbit Systems as its ECM provider.”
