ETL and Lumina Broadcast Systems partner at MilCis Show 2019

ETL systems and its Australian Partner Lumina BSA, will be showcasing its RF signal distribution solutions at the Military, Communications and information systems (MilCis) show on 12th-14th of November in Canberra, Australia. ETL will be demonstrating its popular Hurricane 64x64 L-band matrix, which is used to provide flexibility in uplink and downlink Satcoms including video traffic, data management and TVRO applications. As the most compact 64x64 Matrix on the market (4RU) it also helps to optimise the use of receiving capacity, has integrated LNB powering and fibre inputs. The Hurricane is a distributive (full fan-out) Matrix with signal capacity of 64 inputs x 64 outputs with features to suit specific RF needs for each satellite feed. The high resilience matrix has minimal downtime due to hot-swap of all active components. In addition, ETL will also be exhibiting its StingRay RF over Fibre Links, with an array of fibre modules covering L-band , S-band and Broadband frequencies, the choice of fixed or automatic gain control and the option for LNB powering. Providing a reliable alternative to copper coaxial cable, the StingRay RF over Fibre links convert RF to optical signals up to 10km away with options for distances up to 500km. Andrew Bond, ETL’s Sales and Marketing Director, commented “We understand that Australian defence is in the process of transforming itself, seeking networking and integration for the future military with increased data and situational awareness. Our partner Lumina BSA is perfectly placed to help them lead this charge for innovation”. MilCIS is the only Australian conference that focuses strategically on the crucial technologies, products, systems and services associated with military communications and information systems. ETL will be exhibiting at stand B6. For more information or to book a meeting please visit the ETL Systems website here
