Airbus to strengthen secure communications at Gulf Defense & Aerospace Kuwait

Airbus is participating in the 5th edition of the Gulf Defense & Aerospace – Kuwait, an event dedicated to Defense, Aerospace, Homeland Security, and Safety & Security held under the Official Patronage of the Kuwait First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, H.E. Sheikh Naser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; and taking place from the 10th to 12th of December.

The event itself is part of Kuwait’s Vision 2035, which aims to transform Kuwait into a regional and international hub for commerce and business. Airbus, leading provider of communications and collaborations solutions, is presenting their key security solutions, including the Tactilon Dabat terminal and smartphone in-one, Tactilon Agnet collaboration application and platform, and RCS- Radio Communication Systems.

The Radio Console System, used by police forces, is a modern Tetra dispatching console for control room dispatchers to easily and quickly access Tetra communication features. Tactilon Agnet brings secure communications to smart devices and gives users the possibility to benefit from voice, data, video, and location services in a controlled manner with reliability and security; meeting the needs of both public safety organizations and transport, utility and industry users.

The company is also highlighting application demos for the Tactilon Dabat, a combination of smartphone and full Tetra radio in one smart, strong, and secure device.

“Kuwait is making rapid advances in the defense and security sectors, implementing the latest technologies that will help the country’s economy progress. Our participation at the exhibition seeks to intensify our cooperation with the Gulf countries, which are increasingly focusing on strengthening their armed forces and security measures. Airbus has deservedly earned recognition as a reliable and independent partner for effective and reliable mission-critical communications in the Middle East region.” said Andrew Forbes, Head of Middle East and North Africa region for Secure Land Communications at Airbus.
