Alltec Composite Materials obtains Nadcap accreditation for non-destructive Ultrasound test processe

Alltec, a leading company in the production of composite material parts, has received Nadcap (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) Accreditation for its non-destructive Ultrasound testing process. The company has also just renewed its accreditation for the chemical painting process of Composite Material aeronautical parts, which was obtained last year.

The international audit performed by PRI (Performance Review Institute) evaluated all steps of the non-destructive test process in accordance with the requirements of the Embraer Standards and the Nadcap Criteria, and granted Ultrasound accreditation.

Nadcap is the main cooperative global program among companies of the Aerospace and Defense Sector to manage product specifications and special manufacturing and test processes as a means to mitigate risks and continuously improve supply chain quality.

“With this additional achievement, Alltec reassures its commitment to fulfill stringent requirements throughout all production stages and ensures the adoption of continuous improvements from product development and acquisition, receipt, parts manufacturing all the way to packaging and shipping to the customer", Sérgio Rossato, Alltec Quality engineer, highlights.

In order to obtain accreditation, all equipment used is evaluated, as well as all processes, test equipment, personnel qualification and internal and environmental controls.

Alltec has been working to obtain Nadcap accreditation for other productive processes such as Composite Parts Manufacturing; Assembly of Structural and Sealing Components as well as its Test Laboratory.
